Great initiative. I see a lot of questions pertaining to ppl of other races and I wonder do these ppl ever have contact with the race they are asking about. If more ppl were open to actually getting to know other races, a lot of these stereotypes wouldn't exist. BTW saying everyone is just the same is a lie. It's OK to be different. It's not OK to think that we are better or worst than others because of these differences.

Umm, I'm not sure what to think of this...It seems like it could be an interesting sociology experiment but at the same time I see a major flaw..
You're not the voice of the universal black male. No one is. You have to be careful when representing a race. Anyone who contact you has to keep in mind that they're getting to know you, your personal beliefs and experiences which are going to differ from those of many other black males.
At either rate, I'd like to see how this turns out...

To the answerer's that said there are no differences,
you cant say that, you have never been black. You can say what you think but you do not know how it feels to be a black man unless you are a black man. Being a friend doesn't make you black, being married to a black man doesn't make you black. So in actuality you don't know what its like to be black.Open your mind, email this man and ask him the questions you would like answers to.It certainly couldnt hurt ,now could it?

No need to wonder. I grew up around black people and most of my friends where black so I think I know them pretty well already.
BTW, they are normal humans just like the rest of us.

Why would you want to be defined as a person by your color? sure, it's part of who you are, but only part of it. Allow other to see you by being you first, then your heritage. Otherwise people will never get past the stereotypes. IMHO

Bill Cosby says:
Stay in school
Stay out of trouble
Don't idolize prison culture.
One third of young black men don't do those things. Shame, that. I'll be more interested in how a black man thinks and feels when that "one third" is greatly reduced.

SINCE YOU CAN NEVER REALLY "KNOW" ANOTHER PERSON , IT IS A MOOT POINT. I BELIEVE THAT WE ALL CAN BE WHOEVER WE WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO SEE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN AFRAID TO TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT ANYTHING. I AM NOT A BIGOT,RACIST OR HAVE HATRED FOR ANYONE. I THINK THAT IT IS A USELESS WASTE TO HATE SOMEONE FOR THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN OR RELIGION. UNFORTUNATLEY, I AM A MINORITY IN THIS..I HAVE HAD FRIENDS OF ALL COLORS ALL MY LIFE. I ALL GOOD
ALSO, LOOKS LIKE YOU JUST WANT TO MEET A WOMAN. TRY E HARMONY, WORKED FOR ME
