It depends on where to live, if he has an old or new practice, best to call and talk to the secretary about it. I have seen bills between $85-$200 for initial consults. If its a birth control/family planning issue, the most cost effective is to go somewhere like planned parenthood. If you think you may have something like cervical cancer, a breast lump or something like that, dont let money stop you, go see a doc and ask for a payment plan if necessary, or ask for info on a local free clinic, get medicaid if you qualify, but make sure you take care of your health. It can save your life.

planned parenthood is not considered a "free" clinic but it works on a sliding scale based on income never go to planned parenthood with no money seeing they take donations and they need those donations so say u go and ur so poor u don t have to pay anything a donation of 3 dollars would make the person who does fees happy

I believe there are free clinics in practically every city. Try checking with someone like Planned Parenthood.

Try going to the Health Department...they base your fee off of what you make.

see if there is a county health clinic near you, they can get you free pap smear, pregnancy tests and birth control. If you are pregnant they can help you get state health care
