parent abuse?

my dad is a little .... i wont say. i am almost 14 now and he still whips me. he says when i get a little older he is going to smack me insted. he has even said that he was going to knock out my teeth. dont get me wrong hes a nice dad but he has a temper worse than any women PMS'ing.is this child abuse. i am skilled in kickboxing and one day he is going to hit me the wrong way and he going to get it right back... self defence right?

Honey, this is just so wrong. Yer Dad may be a nice guy in a lot of ways, but what he's doing to you IS abusive. Honest. Talk to some adult you trust and get his or her help to talk w yer Dad. If that's not enough, get the hell out and I mean it. You can still see yer Dad, still love him but DON'T submit to his treatment.

When you get older, you'll know why I told ya this. Knocking him out is no solution. Act. Yer strong, you'll make it. Ok?

With my bones nearly broken,
And my daddy continues
With more bad words spoken.

"I'm sorry!", I scream
But its now much too late
His face has been twisted
Into unimaginable hate

the hurt and the pain
Again and again
Oh please God, have mercy!
Oh please let it end!
And he finally stops
And heads for the door,
While I lay there motionless
Sprawled on the floor

Dang chiquis, that's not right. It sounds like child abuse to me so what if sometimes he's nice, he still shouldn't be hitting you. I believe words hit harder then actually hitting. Talk to him. tell him how much that hurts not just the pain of the hit but your heart. Don't let him hit you no more and also be the best you can be and don't go falling in love at a young age,respect your self, be independent. You're young and most guys now a days are growing up to be jerks. Be responsible and talk to your pops. GOOD LUCK GIRLY

You are almost fourteen, there are other ways to punish a teenager.
When you are a child, a beating here or there for wrong-doing is acceptable, but not suggested.
You are a teenager and he is a man, this is physical abuse and you need to get in contact with someone to stop this immediatly.
Since he is your father, he could come up with other means of punishment rather then physical punishment. He could ground you from going out and hanging with your friends or ground you from the computer and phone instead of beating you.
Your father needs to realize this but probably wont realize it unless you take action.

You can report him, but there also laws to protect him, and given him the authority to "spank" if neccesary. I have a 14 year old, everything that comes out of his mouth and is rude and snotty. He doesn't even realize it. If you would obide by his rules and make better decisions I am betting you wouldn't get whipped. Unless he is kicking your butt all over the place and you are REALLY being abused, you should probably look at your self and how disrespectful you are to him. I know you will think I am crazy, I would have at 14.

I imagine that it is abuse and abuse of his position which is your father. He probably thinks that you cant do anything to him cause he's your dad! But you've also got to think about if you do anything wrong or anything to make him mad, that's still no reason to hit you! It can get to the point where he can injure you so severely that you can end up in the hospital.. you should talk to you school councilor or a teacher....they willl help you out......

shockingly this is not abuse my dad is the same way and it can be hard to keep ur temper in check when ur raising a 14 yr. old gurl on ur own. i'm 14 too, but if u do something wrong and he hits u he's not totally crazy and it depends on where ur living the cops will do nothing they didn't here. i hope i helped.

This is based only on your side of this: yes he is abusing you. If it is really this way you need to get away from him as soon as u can. Report this to a relative u can trust and maybe even the police or your county protective services. U will have to be willing to live somewhere else. Keep trying, and get out of there before he kills you or beats you up.

he probibly is using expresions hes really not going to knock out your teeth and your of the age that if you talk back you should get slapped instead of bieng wipped on the butt becouse now you are a young lady and hes not going to take off your pants if you tlk back or are sassy then you should get slapped i doi not belive this is child abuse i do belive in corperal punishment if he hits u for no reason thats abuse but i dont belive he is abusing you
