sounds like you're trying to remove the signature from a stolen card. Don't think I care to help you.

As a previous poster said, the cards are made so that you cannot alter the signature panel without ruining it. If you don't like your signature, don't worry about it, no cashier really cares if your handwriting is sloppy. If whatever is written there is too troublesome to leave, call your credit card company and they should send a replacement without a problem.

You can't. Any solvent or abrasive will remove the outer coating on the card. The layer underneath says "VOID" in big letters.
