It's exactly what it sounds like; an apron made of leather.

Such an apron would be used where a cloth one would be to fragile. Think of a blacksmith pounding sparks out of a hot piece of iron.

leather aprons are used in the collection of hashhish in the fields!!!!!!the tar-like substance sticks to the workers aprons as they run through the fields of marijuana on particularly hot days when the plants sweat the cannbinol oils on the leaf surfaces!!!!the oils are scraped off with blades and pressed into cakes or blocks for shippment usually with an owners pattern and lettering embossed in their surfaces!!!
