Use your common sense for a minute and ask yourself what makes ink/paint glitter? Then ask yourself what those particles would do to you if they were under your skin! IF you're talking about the permanent type

You can get yourself tattooed with anything, but a reputable artist won't use glitter. It contains metallic flakes and pigment that will a) discolor and b) likely set up a reaction when it is injected under the skin. Better to paint the glitter on top of your skin. You can renew it, change it or whatever, and if there is a bad reaction, you aren't stuck with costly and difficult dermatological surgery to remove or excise it.

No, you can't. If you find a tattoo artist willing to do it, run screaming from them in terror.

Get your tattoo, then after it heals paint clear glitter on it every day.

*points up at previous answerer* The UV tattoos look AMAZING!

I don't think you can. I spend a lot of time in tattoo parlours and can honestly say I've never seen anything like it. I would think it would be a bit dodgy too. You could ask a tattooist but I would think the answer is no.

No, it's hard to get the 'bits' down the needle.

What's new at the moment is luminous ink. It cannot be seen in normal light until you go under a UV light, when it glows.

It's really cool. I'm thinking of getting one.
