uhhh why would u want to make your own fireworks? if u do it incorrectly you could blow yourself up and any thing or anyone around you KABOOMM !!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't try it unless you want the Dept. of Homeland Security showing up at your door.

You also need to be licensed and bonded to build fireworks. License would have to also be gained from your state fire marshal, which is no mean feat. Not to mention the insurance that has to be taken out. The restrictions have toughened greatly over the past few years due to the number of firework-related explosions, including a plant in Las Vegas and a store in Ohio, where several people were killed (I worked on both cases; they were horrible).

I live in a state with a fire works factory that blows itself up bi-annually and I have been regaled with all the stringent rules that apply to them via the news. I am going to say that unless you want to go to work at a fireworks factory OR move somewhere outside of the US; that even IF you could get the stuff w/o a license THAT given the political atmoshere right now it just ain't happenin'! Or you have about as much of a chance of this happening as dating--ummm--Jessica Alba... in other words: zip-zilch-

i dont know but to buy already made fireworks...pa has some great ones but you either have to have a liscence or be from another state.
