I have Windows XP, and frankly, I am sick of it and Microsoft. I am looking into getting an Apple Macbook (not the pro, just a normal one). Does anyone here have one and really like it. Please share your comments..good or bad here. And also, do they scratch easily like the iPod?

If you want to try something else - operating system before you buy a computer try first a linux .For me like ,i work with 2 g3 - 8 years old are greate at hardware level but like os sucks .are the same like microsoft , nice looking but useless without paid or cracked software.opensource for macs is far from the opensource for linux ppc macs or x86 . my advice is try a x86 linux and if you buy a mac buy an apple mac not an apple intel mac .
