Here the description of my problem...

I had the achtung virus on my computer, so I thought I would do a windows repair from the cd. I boot the cd, look around a bit, but unable to find a repair option (to install windows xp over the existing windows xp). So I try to exit the cd to restart the computer, and it doesn't exit. Instead the computer seems to be loading something, so I just hit the power button. When I turn the computer back on, and the boot-up part gets to booting the hard drive, all I see is a blinking underscore. I tried reading the drive as a slave, but it wouldn't read. What the heck just happened? Thanks.

You might have started formatting your drive...doh! Go back into setup and check when it shows information about your hard drive...see if it says if you have Windows installed.
