Wouldn't I love to know!! Why are SO many people so Stupid?? I asked a similar question the other day regarding idiots!

Ignore them. Don't lose your cool. Be respectful, but be firm and business like. Don't make it personal.
If you have an issue with retarded (mentally or physically handicapped people), perhaps you are working in the wrong department where these type of people are employed.

First and foremost the trick is not to think of them as "retards" but rather as having personality characteristics different from your own. It will change your point of view every time. Prayers =)

since I work with retards AT work (ie. take care of them) I could go on and on with a huge dissertation, but I'm not going to waste my time on you because you clearly have no social skills if you can't even get along with the people you work with. good luck with your sad life.
