i live in California, SF. I got 82 channel cable. These past few days my channel 2 (KTVU, News) is receving a radio singal....i could still see the news but i cant hear it, but i hear the radio...i dont know what station but i know its a radio. Also i have 2 other TVs in the house and the channel 2 on those are working fine, i guess its just mine.

Do anyone of you know the problem? how can i fix this and why is it acting like this...plz serious answers

OK 1st of all its noting to do with sound!!! its actually sound like a radio station!!!! its not like a screehy sound or nothing its a radio station on my chanel 2!!!

o yea u know how hwne u goto a channel it shows what channnel u are at on top right screen? well it shows chn 02 then a sec its shows NET1...

it never showed that b4 so....

Well, If it's only affecting the cable running to your television I'd check the connections first. A loose connection can cause noise like this. If your connections are good you might try buying a TVI filter from Radio Shack or other electronics store. That should solve the problem.

Make sure you haven't accidentally put your TV on SAP mode (you know the setting where it says stereo, SAP or mono) I have done this on mine before and it does sound like it is getting a radio station. And if I remember it correctly it was on channel 3 or 4 in Florida also.

move ur tv to another part of the room
