no you should name your first son jr.,cause when your kids grow up they might think that he doesn't belong to his father since he was not named jr.

One should not name ANY son "Junior." This name comes across as really lowbrow and folksy. It's not clear from your question if that is what you were asking.

Having said that, I see nothing wrong with naming a son after his father, and having "Jr." as a suffix. To me it doesn't matter what number son it is - but you may have to defend later why son #1 didn't get this name. Just don't saddle the kid with "Junior" as a first name.

I think its insulting to the first born son. If you wanted a Junior, it should have been your first son. To name your second born that makes me think the first has a different father or you don't love him as much as the second.

No, I wouldn't think that would be right. The first son should be a junior or none should.

If the father is "Senior", than it is logical that his first son is "Junior". But calling the second son "Junior"... I don't know.

You shouldn't name anything Junior! I'm afraid it just sounds tacky. Give the child an actual name.

Why didn't you name 1st son jr? Not sure that I would as it would hurt the 1st sons feelings when he gets older.

the 1st 1 should be Jr., second, the regular name, and 3rd, senior

ex: 1 Timmy Jr.
2. Timmy
3 Timmy senior

:D KIDDIN! no it isn't normal, don't name them Jr. or senior, its dorky and weird. Plus, what would happen when he or she became older? a 45- year-old named Timmy Jr?..................
