Let me preface this by stating that I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just offering my observations.

I work with somebody in a similar situation. They have their masters degree from a major Florida university. I have my AA from a community college. I make about twice as much as the person with the masters.

The person with the masters is generally a pain in the butt. He does not work as hard as others in the company, and is constantly compaining that he should be making more because of his degree.

Obviously, I don't know anything about you. But I know it takes more than a degree to get a good job. You must be willing to do hard, sometimes dirty work. You must be personable. If people don't like you and don't want to be around you, they will probably not hire you or promote you.

All I'm saying is that maybe the problem is not the job market, maybe it's you. Again, I don't know anything about you, so I can't judge, that's something you'll have to figure out for yourself.
