Well in my opinion there shouldn't be abortion anywhere legal. Abortion is murder no matter what. If you get raped and end up being pregnant then you could give it up for adoption. It isn't the baby's fault that something bad happened to you. Abortion is murder and I feel that if you have an abortion then you should go to prison just as if you went out and murdered an old person because it is just the same thing except that one has seen the world and the other hasn't.

In California, all person TWELVE years and older are legally entitled to consent to and obtain their own sexual health care.

This means if you are twelve and older, you are allowed to go to a clinic and get check-ups, tests, prenatal care AND ABORTIONS by yourself with protections provided for your confidentiality. You do not need your parents' consent to obtain an abortion. Your parents do not need to be informed as far as the law is concerned (but on moral grounds they should be).

There is a 72 hour waiting period for abortions (both surgical and pharmaceutical) and consultation with the clinician prior to abortion is mandatory.

Whether you agree with abortion or not, this is the law as it applies to CA. So please consider the accuracy of this answer when voting instead of choosing based on your own politics.

No legal system or regulation can justify acts of abortion.
Abortion is more about your ego. Are you putting your interest above this helpless little baby or the other way around?

Imagine a child comes to your life, expected or unexpected, it's a gift of life... to us.
This baby will bring about changes in our life, making us more mature and more aware of the essential characteristics of life.

Even by risking our own life, it's a wonderful opportunity for a mother to give birth to a new life... At least, the baby can have a chance to become a human being, not as a ghost or spirit or animal? And life can offer endless good things to it, to make it grow.. better and better! It's all a matter of the mindset, nothing is absolute.

Who knows, no one should want to have an abortion. Adoption is better then killing something that is your problem. The baby did not do anything to you.
