First I would have a talk with her about what you expect from her. Set the rules and ask her to follow them , after all it is your house. I f this doesn't work I would ask her, take that back, tell her to move out and reclaim my space and privacy. Remember, never loan money to someone you are already taking care of , STOP ENABLING HER , to use you.

sounds like a crowded house. you would be best off to tell her she has an amount to pay every month that is to be paid on time and if she doesn,t pay then she has to leave.she is taking advantage of you and that,s not fair give her a time limit to pay you back for what she does owe and make sure she pays on time if not boot her out and get someone in who can and will pay

You are enabling her.
Tell her, since she is not paying what she is supposed to, you can only assume she has been saving money to get her own place. Give her a deadline date that she must be out on her own. example: Nov. 1, 2006

your question is confusing. who's niece is it? yours or your husbands? Does SHE have kids or is it you that has kids? was the rent she was supposed to pay you established before she moved in? had she agreed to pay it? why do you allow her to borrow money? that's retarded. she's probably using that money to pay YOU! so in essence, you are paying yourself.

sounds like you have already had enough. warn her that you are giving her two months to get her sh*t straight. if she does not, her @ss will be outta there.

not much.. why not put her out now.. u can't live anywhere for free and u need to let her know that.. u need to give her a set amt of $$ to pay u to help w/the bills... and if she disagrees then let her know that u can't afford to have her live w/u anymore.. u were doing her a favor not the other way around... family always takes advantage of u.. that's why u need to establish rules and guidelines before helping them out...

You know in your heart this isn't going to get any better - ever. Give her 2 wks. notice now. Tell her she's your neice and you love her but, you don't want to hear ANY excuses, your mind's made up. Then stick to it.

You should have done it after the first sign of it. She has to go.
