You can't, there will always be more old boys; and even worse old girls to tell them how badly to behave!
As for Joy_L, if you kill off all the men, what would women do for children!

NO one can keep you down without your choice, not even an old boys club of thousands! As a woman in a male dominated industry I would be foolish to pretend that there is not an old boys club. This thread has great advise that I agree with much. You can not eliminate something you view as a threat by selecting a more productive view. If we focus too much on "thier power" or "our deficiencies" we impose our own limitations! Sometimes we worry too much about a trend and create our own self limiting reality. Give your best to the task in front of you, because your name is associated with it. If you are known for great work, that will be rewarded, if not in this group, in your next opportunity, or business!

There is no Easy answer for the dessimination of the "Good Old Boy Network" You can work against this by doing business with Women-Owned businesses, New Companies, Small Businesses, and Self -Sustaining companies. The only way to tame the animal is to not encounter it.

You don't. Every demographic group in power typically behaves in the same way.

You can't, but you can learn to play their game. If they see you as a threat, you're out, but if they see you as one of them, you're golden.
