I would to spend some time snuggling young children. I have had heart valve surgery and identify with the trauma associated with that. Besides, I LIKE babies.

I really appreciate people like yourself. My daughter was in the hospital for the first 2 months of her life. I couldn't be there all the time, so volunteers would come in and rock her. It meant the world to me. Contact the children's hospital in your area and god bless you for your kindness.

I understand what you're asking and that i think of i'm going to have been to blame of this, yet only while somebody expresses a project over the fee of adopting a new child. I fairly have stated they look into adopting an older new child. Now, if a kin starts off doing foster care with the objective of adopting a new child from foster care, they're in for a rude awakening. The objective of the foster care gadget is for reunification of the kin. and that they're going to do despite they are able to to maintain a kin at the same time. and you fairly never understand while the youngster would be taken out of your place. Adopting from the Foster care gadget and adopting from an corporation or the bio kin isn't even close to to an identical element. it fairly is like comparing apples and oranges so to speak.

Volunteer to be a candy striper at a children hospital in your area. You may not be able to cuddly with babies but I am sure that you will be able to brighten the day of some young children.

i heard about something like that.... in this day and age, it is harder for them to screen people =T. but there are apparently #'s of babies who are born from drug-addicted mothers, or have no parents, and need a LOT of snuggling. in fact, just someone holding them close to the body a lot in the first few months/years apparently does a LOT in helping the child grow up healthier! good luck, i hope u find some way to help~

I'm sure some hospitals need volunteers to rock sick babies in the nursery. You might have more luck with this in a larger city.
I think it's a wonderful thing to want to do.

Local hospitals are usually looking for people to hold and rock newborn premmies. And other infants with serious health problems. You will need to pass a CORI check first.

Contact your local hospital. There are sometimes volunteer opportunities for baby snugglers in the neonatal intensive care unit.
