You cannot tame an owl. They can be trained, with lots of hard work. They are wild animals and will never be anything else. There is always the potential that you can be hurt. In the US it is illegal to have a native owl in your possesion. Care and feeding for a bird of prey is expensive and time consuming.

What kind of owl are you referring to? Or just "owls" in general?

Most raptors cannot be truly tamed like other birds.

I have taken care of an injured Eastern Sreech Owl and also a young "chicken" hawk before.

The wildlife Adoption center does not surely deliver you an animal. They deliver you a image of the animal you chosen so bypass forward and undertake the snowy owl and a polar bear and despite yet you does no longer get the totally animal.
