I saw the first episode of the original series 40 years ago on NBC and was hooked. Hand held "communicator" flip phones and computer terminals that use plastic encased memory discs. Never thought I'd live to see the day. Young people who see the old re-runs don't realize that when they were originally aired, none of that stuff was around to copy from. It was a guess about what some of the gadgets humans would be using 300 hundred years in the future.
Favorite characters are Spock, Data and McCoy.

Star Trek rocks! from the original I would say Spock
from Next Generation with out a doubt Picard
from Voyager hmm The doctor..... after those shows it gets a little fuzzy who was in what. LOL

TOS Films: Checkov in Star Trek IV when he is caught by US Navy guys.

I love Star Trek and I mean the original one. Captain Kirk and Spock are my favorites

substantial: Spock became into my popular character and then information. Minor: Garak became into rather cool. no longer a usual character: I enjoyed Lwaxana Troi (portrayed by skill of actress Majel Barrett, real existence widow of television director/producer/author and film star Trek author Gene Roddenberry) My popular usual continues to be Spock.

Spock was everyones favourite ftom the original series.
Tasha Yar was my favourite from The Next Generation.
Major Kira Nerys from DS9 (Jadzia Dax a close second)
Kes from Voyager until she 'gained her powers', then Seven of Nine ( She was great in the episode : Drone)
Hoshi for 'In a mirror, darkly ' in the ill fated Enterprise

in deep space nine... Dr. Basheer and Quark

in enterprise.. no one cause i never watch it !!!
and i have been a star trek fan since the next generation started and then got into the older series
