the funny thing about being stylish, is that you want to make a splash when you show up for first day. Except everyone else who thinks they are stylish & trendy, will be doing the same.
Remember last year and the year before, how many peeps had the exact same outift, as you did?
No matter what you buy - some one has probably bought the same thing, because thats all the stores have, is duplicates - lots and lots of them.
If you're gonna worry about your image, then you really don't have much of a life now, what are you gonna do when you don't have to show up for school anymore?
Instead of one-uping your peers, just pick out what you feel comforatable in and just enjoy hooking up with your buds and having a great time.
Its just a matter of time before some jerk shows up with a water balloon to ruin the day for your buds, by messing up thier fancy "doos". You can get over it, coz you're there just to have a great time, and not quibble over superficial details.
Enjoy your first day.
Save the big splashes, for special events - coz you'll have a better idea of what everyone else is up to, and make your entrances in your own stylish way.

Platos Closet, Gap, Steve and Barry's, Wet Seal, Forever 21, Dots Fashions, Old Navy, Lane Bryant, Avenue, Rainbow Fashions, Fashion Bug, Target, Walmart, K-Mart and if those stores dont fit your budget you can always try second hand clothing stores.

Well, I don't know where you live but for our back to school fashions we went to Goody's, Buckles, Aerapostle, Rue 21, Forever 21 and depended on some great Abercrombie & Fitch hand me downs. Rainbow and Rave have great prices. Oh, always hit the sales racks first. Good Luck.

I always get the best deals at TJ Maxx - you can usually find stuff from the mall stores on sale there, especially shoes.
Also, can't go wrong with Target.

you could go to malls asap... and check around for back-to-school sales...
depending on what you like.. there can be rebates of up to 85%.. it's been said on the news lately.. but that was in general thought... no speicifc store was mentioned
wal-mart is good if you don't mind the stuff there... but NO shoes from there... they break easily.
