I feel good. There are too many of them anyway. You cannot walk a street in America without seeing the flag. American flag is everywhere - on shoes, clothes, videos... you know! Too much is too much.

...i feel the person doing the burning must be trying to tell me something, send a message. It could be any of hundreds of different things, but if I don't try to understand WHY the flag is being burned, then I feel ignorant, which makes me mad...
"You kill what you fear, and you fear what you don't understand"
If I understand why the flag is being burned, I'm less likely to be mad and more likely to act to change the world so that fewer people feel the need to burn the flag.

I feel like wrapping the burning flag around the one who put the flame to it. These aren't the kind of people that the millions of men and women who have sacrificed their life had in mind........but freedom is freedom and it's a great thing so any more when I witness that kind of sorry display I just shake my head in disgust and carry on.

I feel it's a proper way to dispose of a flag when it becomes too worn.
Otherwise, I agree with the conviction of Gregory Lee Johnson in Texas, before the appeals made it "freedom of speech" and protected.
Originally he was sentenced to one year in prison, and fined $ 2,000

Disgusted. Burning the flag is bad enough, but too many people who do it are AMERICANS who don't even believe in what flag-burning is supposed to mean. They just enjoy pissing off The Man.

Nothing compare to when i see people needlessly living in poverty. Your phony flag and the phony country it represents does not impress me an American citizen by many generations. The land is great but the people in control are limiting my life to the existence of a scavenger! To the world America sucks cause of the unfair rein of control in our Capitalism! Many of its citizens are starving and malnourished etc.

I don't feel a strong emotion towards let say the arabs who do it everyday as a sort of protest towards America. They seriously need to get jobs over there.
But if an American is doing it to protest the Government or the president I feel anger. They seriously don't deserve to be here if they don't understand the symbolism and freedom the flag represents to millions of people living here.

We can do that in this country. Most people wouldn't but it's what's called being a free democratic society. I'm former military and all I can say is people died for that and even if you don't agree with it we have the right to do so.
