I think myth are based on history. And a myth is not really true it could be part of a truth that is stretch into a white lie. History is just facts of the past.

History is always fact, as in things that actually took place in real life. Myth is either a complete fabrication, or something based on history but altered into myth. The battle of 1066 is history, but Odin and his clan are myth. King Arthur may or may not have lived, but it is certain that there were never dragons, at least not in England, so that could be myth loosely based on history.

the relationship is that sometimes within history a myth is created while the difference is that history are true facts while a myth is something widely believed but untrue.

Many myths are based off of a seed of historical truth, but the difference is that myths aren't generally accurate or factual, while something labeled as "history" should be.

that's complicated to split the two. Thorough study of historic previous will continually incorporate extensive-unfold and secondary aspects, yet reading historic previous and enjoying that's plenty diverse than organic study. subsequently, reading historic previous will continually incorporate myths. Revision of historic previous is continually occurring - and lots revision will continually incorporate myths. that's no longer something to get too exercised over. Take the myths with a grain of salt and merely take excitement in reading historic previous.
