im a 23 year old who cannot find a good paying job in ny and it seems there is nothing up here but my friends. is it worth me moving to florida to find a better paying job.

you can usually get a job in florida, but its not high paying. what's your field?

it depends on where in s. fla. in the nice areas the people are snobby, and in the less expensive areas the people are shady.

also take the weather into consideration. the best season is spring. summer its very hot, fall it rainy and humid plus thats when we get hurricanes. and recently we've been getting tons of them. winter time is nice except when it rains, cause then its cold rain. and no matter what season it is expect humidity.

and it depends on the job your after. it might pay well or it might not.

oh yeah and the traffic is almost always horrible. the only public transportation we have are buses. and if you call a taxi it takes a half hour for them to arrive.

its expensive to live here too.

Florida is an awful place. The crime alone is enough not to move there. Remember all the celebrities and sports people who live in FL do so for the tax laws and they ALL live in gated communities with private security.

No. Florida is having the same problems. Find a place where real estate is a little more affordable like, say, Atlanta, GA.

No I don't think it is becuase South Florida has a hurricane every year.

The job market in Floridia is not high paying- although the cost of living is less.
