I always liked my children to sleep with us,when they were between about 1-5 years old they love the security,I always loved to feel my children breathing against me an snuggling,I feel as long as your man still gets plenty of sex they shouln't care,but my husband is angry that my 3 year old granddaughter wants to sleep with me[she is having nightmares now!]

My 6 year old won't sleep anywhere else!
And I'd rather him in the bed then my hubby snoring, hogging, slobbering, then after the sex of course the hubby just takes up too much space. (sex with hubby you psycho pervs!! Not my child - sad that I know I have to put that on here!!!)

My son had off and on slept in our bed since birth, I totally get the snuggling thing He's our only (not by choice) so I am a bit clingy. My husband put up with it now and then as long as it's wasn't for long periods of time. He's getting a little older now He's 7 and at times has nightmares, for which he wants to sleep in our bed again, We have made a compromise We went out and bought a couple of huge pillows which he will grab and sleep on the floor right by our bed. It works out well for everyone and still gives us some small feeling of privacy.

Children are a pride and joy to have in your life. I am a father and I love the bonding of sleeping with my children. In this day and age it is hard to find time to bond, sleeping is a good opportunity to do so.

OK--serious answer. It's OK to let her sleep there. She's only three. I'm a mom and I let my daughters sleep with me for awhile-even now if they have a bad dream. It provides them love and security and that's what you're there for, right? I'm sure it doesn't seem fair to children that they have to sleep all alone in a cold room, while parents (and grandparents) sleep in the same room, together, where it is all cozy and warm. Tell him to lighten up--she'll get tired of it soon enough!

I still sleep with my mom and i'am 20yrs tell your husband that she is just a little one going through some issues and that she needs to be comfort and hold. He should understand that and i think he is being a bit unfair. i love when my nephew sleeps with me. To tell you the truth i feel the same way as you do with your grand daughter. i feel like i'm giving hime security also

Mine sleeps with me . He's 18 months . Im getting him a toddler bed today . I do not share my bed with men . When I date someone , I hire a sitter and go 'out ' . Until I marry I will not share my bed with a man . After I marry my son will have his own room and bed .

I think he is being irrational. You said he gets plenty of sex, I'm hoping your granddaughter isn't in the room at the time, he shouldn't have a problem.

I never had my kids sleep with me, unless they were sick. I felt that they would sleep better in their own bed and also give them a sense of independence.

OUR SON STILL SLEEP WITH US & HE IS NOW 2 YRS. OLD. OUR OTHER 2 KIDS SLEPT WITH US TILL THEY WERE BOTH 3 OR 4 YRS OLD. I DON'T THINK THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH SLEEPING WITH THEM TILL AT LEAST THEIR 3..
