bio-informatics, because it has informatics in it!!!
seriously: geology, you'll spend your entire life diging up rocks.
bio-informatics, you'll end up your entire life either mapping DNA of some weird animal or making next generation of computers (from bio chemical components)
now, YOU chose the one you prefer.

Geology,... its easier to study rocks. And you can take it anywhere, except it may not be so good for a career choice, unless you're gonna get into prospecting.
