You just answered your own question.
Tell them exactly what you said right here" I have been told I have cancer but I don't know enough right now" I need to get more information from doctors but as loved one's I wanted you to know first"
The most important thing is that I don't want anyone to worry.

U might want to get a second opinion, etc. before u tell them. In Detroit Michigan for example Harper Hospital specializes in cancer research and treatment, but there are other good ones.

Your probably better off if you tell them now. Although you may need more medical information, you should tell your family. You will need your families support and trying to go it alone could be a lonely road for you. Tell them right now and don't delay.
Good Luck and I wish you well.

You should definitely confide in your partner and then later, when you know more about your illness, talk to your family together. I would like to encourage you to continue to open up and reach out to people, as you just did to us. You really touched me. It was quite something to see a question like yours, among all the crazy stuff about who what to name one's cat and who smells bad and who doesn't. I wish you all the best and I hope you'll come out of this all right. I'll be thinking of you.

If it were me I'd tell my partner but wait for more details to tell the rest of the family.

You shouldn't be alone at this period of your life - you need the help and support of your friends and family for not only what you are dealing with physically but also emotionally. They would want to know as well and may be upset that you didn't share this with them as they would want to support you.
