I just want to say...all of you that are saying to "ditch her now"...you don't realize how hard it is to even ask this question. We have been best friends for so long..we have been through so much together and it isn't even easy to ask this question. I want to try to make it work....but I need some tips on where to start. Would counsleing be pushing it?? Please answer!

when there is disrespect and lack of trust. who needs that.
move on. if you are personable and intelligent it should be no problem finding new ones who will be uplifting....after all that is why we call them friends.
Good Luck and think positive:)

I've never heard of friend counseling, but if you think he/she would go for it -- why not. I would say the first place to start would be to sit down and tell your friend your problems, concerns and hopes. If the person is really you're friend, they'll be accepting of what you say and try to work out a good solution that will keep both people happy. Remember this though...."Friendship shouldn't be hard".

Just take a breather for awhile and try to stay away from then, if you find it to be less stressful, but still miss them, then sit and talk after you have decided what it is you want them to change. Then give it a little time, if things don't change, it never will, then you ditch them.

The point you are now. Go out and find new friends but that doesn't mean that you cant still be friends with that one just distance yourself from them.

well if they treat you bad then they already aren't your friend. i say do it NOW and find a new friend. they don't deserve friends if they are mean to them. ask if they've ever heard the saying "what goes around, comes around three times worse." or "treat others how you want to be treated."

At the point you are at now. If you need to wonder if a person is worthy of your friendship, it is time to move on and time to get going.

if you have to ask that question then now would be a good time...now if they are a really good friend, then give your relationship a while and see what happens

When they're part of your daily stress or anger.
when they add to the stress or constantly bring drama. when they make u feel bad about urself,or aren't very supportive or standing up for you like they should be.
