Almost~I worked all day (so I was up at 8 am) then left to drive to Missouri, drove all the way through the night, got there just in time for the big family breakfast and family reunion, then had to wait up to go pick up some family from the airport and their plane didn't get in until 1:30 am. We hadn't seen each other for almost 3 years so we stayed up until about 3:30 am talking, then I had to drive back to the hotel, take a shower and I made in into bed by 4:30 am. Another 3 1/2 hours would have been 48 hours!!

38 hours straight is my record. I don't plan on ever doing that again. I was preparing a research paper for my last Business Strategy class for my last class of my senior year in college. I had to take the handwritten notes of my team members to type into a paper. I was able to get it done, present the paper and then drive 33 miles at 2PM while having to slap myself to stay awake. Sleep deprivation will make you think and see strange stuff.

I've been awake for 72 hours straight. I was working security at a local air show, and we didn't have enough staff.

I drove home at the end of the show and got there safely. . .but I don't remember any of those 15 miles. Not smart, I guess, but I was younger then.

Yep. Did it all the time back in college. Plus, I am also insomniac, so I can go without sleep for a while. But anything over three days and things tend to get a bit weird. I wouldn't suggest staying up for more than 2 days in a row.

Many Many Many times.

On major projects, I can work for three days straight without any rest. At the end of that, though, I am pretty spent. That's about my limit.

If I'm awake more than 24 hours I can't function.
