Completely against it, no matter how much I love you, I would just find another guy to marry ..and I will be his one and only.
I think that's the most degrating thing you can do to a woman, there is obviously no respect either for her, and you as the woman will just be another one of his puppet's on strings...have fun
I heard that the lead singer from the Killers believes in marrying more than one person, I think that's insane and wrong..but that's just my opinion. I don't understand how adultery is a Sin yet a Mormon who is quite a religious person marry's more than one person..isn't that commiting adultery? So aren't you a hypocrit then?

i think that with our ethnocentric society for many this idea is a foreign one. many relate it to east indian cultures and see it as shovinistic. i am a woman and although i would probably never agree to a plural marriage i would never condemn a group who chooses to do so. i believe the only way that a plural marriage could work is if all parties are treated equally, which would be difficult. i think you have to convince your wife that you will continue to honour, love and respect her. good luck.

i dont see anything wrong with it. I want a plural wedding and me and my best friend has been considering it. But for women who crave attention and the spot light would not go for that at all.

It can work if the right people are involved. But, there will always be the #1 wife/husband.

maybe since it is a distant cousin then she will be okay with it. I would bring the subject up slowly though, you don't want to scare her off...

I personally don't agree with it, but I'm ok with the people that do practice that as a part of their religion. To each their own.

It might go over well if you are a Mormon. If not, you are going to have more problems than you are able to cope with plus the LAW down on you!
