i'm utilising 3 skillets & a dutch oven. None are under 50 years old. between the skillets is a minimum of eighty. on no account use cleansing soap until eventually you plan to re-season the skillet. i take advantage of warm water & a 3M Scrubbie if some thing is caught. does not take place often with a nicely pro skillet. do no longer EVER positioned them in a dishwasher. the tough cleansing soap & warm water make a rusty mess. do no longer ask how i know this :-( i admire the assumption of putting them in a self cleansing oven. i'm gonna scouse borrow that concept. Beats my way of putting them in a super warm BBQ grill or utilising a propane torch to bathe them up.
