A gp will refer you to a fertility specialist after 12 - 18 months of unprotected sex, depending on age.

I would definately recommend a visit, I tried for 18 months before going to my docs, in the end it took a further 5 years and countless IVF's before I finally had my first child.

It may be something very simple such as a slight hormone imbalance that a few tablets can help with, or it may be a more serious issue that will need more intrusive treatment. Until you have a few tests you will not know.

In the meantime, there are some fab websites with help on getting pregnant, two I would particularly recommend are:-

www.fertilityfriend.com - on here you can chart your periods and other fertile signs and it will work out when your most fertile time is for you.

www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm - this site is geared up for miscarraige but there is something on there called Deannas Plan which is very interesting and certainly worth a try.

I wish you the very best of luck x

Worrying wont bring the stork. Try have test if things see alright with you make sure your partner is OK. Men bits are outside the body for a reason a change in temperature can make the difference between conception and infertility. A man should produce approx 25 to 40 million sperm in three days. I have known men to have a sperm counts has low has two and the quality very poor. After six months this has risen to the levels normally expected. The cure stop wearing tight clothing. Don't blame me when your getting up in the early hours

Me and the Wife tried 3 years. The doctor sent use both to Sheffield hospital and the Professer there told us that my Wife won't get pregnant till she looses weight.

1 month later she was pregnant. I guess sometimes you can try to hard and when someones says it won't happen it does.

Now we have a 10 year old daughter. Good luck to you.

In medicine, infertility means not getting pregnant despite trying for one yr regular unprotected intercourse. In ur case, u should consult ur OB GYN more preferrably someone specializing in infertility. There r test that should be done for both u and ur husband. U both need to encourage one another to go to a doctor and talk about the things that needs to be done. First , series of test, then after knowing and ruling out any possible problems from both of u, then the possible solutions will be discussed by the doctor. If ur really serious about having a baby, consult ur doctor now. Ok.. :) Im a doctor (GP) so thats what i will advise for u.. :) God bless.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

See a doctor. There are too many variables involved in fertility. He could have a problem or you could or there might not be any problem.
Go get checked.

Buying a puppy seems to help too. Don't ask me why. Has happened with serveral friends. Maybe the maternal thing of taking care of the puppy kicks some hormone into overdrive?

uklady, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that her eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into her mouth and check her body temperature every morning before she starts turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. You must ejaculate on your inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex she must stay in bed for about 30 mins with her knees bent up with a pillow under her buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

You must save your sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
