What a great question.
Yes, it is not only a mistake, it is a catastrophe as well.
in order to make Israel (3.5 millions) happy, we pissed off the Muslims (1.5 Billion). It did not happen only three years ago, it was in the making for 50 years.
What is happening in the world right now, Radical Islam, is just a result of our continues aggravating of the worlds 1/5 people.
I guess it is time for people to ask what did we gain from helping Israel all this time, and what are we loosing in alienating Muslims.
Economy??? Anyone thought of that?
We get their oil to run our factories and we export most of our products to them. Should they get really mad, don't you think they could simply cut of the oil supple and ban all American imports? What will happen to us then?

you're damn right it is..we sure can cut the oil and so many countries ere have been trying to spread around the msg on boycotting all goods from the US.apparently the profits from the sold goods were used to support the war against islam and etc..
why can everyone just put aside their religion differences or status and help create this world dynamically better for everyone

The majority should not be allowed to trample the rights of the minority. There is such a thing as absolute justice and no group is large enough that they should ever be allowed to overrule it.
One of those rights is Israel's right to peaceful coexistence (if the Muslims should ever be so kind to grant it).
