my korean penpal is she closer then i think please help me im scared?
ok she called and left a message and she truly is korean plus she gave me here address but i noticed when she called it wasa californa number? what does this mean i kno shes a girl she called but what does the californa thing mean

1st thought:
She could have bought an international calling card to make the long distance call. The company the card came from most likely is located in California. The number of the company supporting the card comes up instead of hers. I needed a calling card once and bought one and everybody thought I was from Atlanta GA. I have bought another kind and it showed my number i was calling from on that one.
2nd thought:
Also......how much do we really know about how the phone system in Korea works??? They may not be capable of their number showing up on our caller ID here. The calls could some way be rerouted over here. I've never had an international call from Korea so I don't know about that one.

Well sometimes when they use calling cards ( outside usa) then some USA number flashes bc I think the calling card companies are using PC-PC internet calls for international calls. When my father calls me from asia, same thing happens. Check with her if she is using calling cards instead of regular line.

why are you scare? Find out where she is and go and meet her she might be a good person. not all of korean are a bad person. Only a few are. Don't be so wimpy get out and be a man. show her what you got. be brave and proud.
