My best friend got married when she was 16 he was 21. They were married for 8yrs. In that time they were only living together for about 6mo. I didn't work. I would say wait till your 18 then live together for a while first.

Umm Okay. First of all, you don't want to marry a guy you "like" you should love him. And at 16 you don't know what love is. You might think you do but you really don't. At 16 you don't even know what you will truly need in a relationship and you don't know what you're capable of. I'm 22 and I'm just now figuring out what I would really need out a man and what I value in a relationship. And I was 16 once too and thought I was in love. I wasn't in love with the guy. Just in love with the idea of being in love. So don't be stupid and try to rush into marriage or anything. But to basicly answer your question. In most states you need to have parental written consent to get married. Meaning your mommy and/or daddy and/or legal guardian will need to accompany you to the courthouse when you and your crush decide to register for a marriage license. Your guardian will then have to legally sign you over to your spouse to be. They have to do this in front of an impartial witness.

Where is "here?" We couldn't possibly know where you are talking about, but no matter because you are WAY too young to get married anywhere, and especially to a guy whom you merely "like." Grow up, you are merely a child. And it's "want to" not "wanna." Geesh!
