What is needed in more pressure on the military to get the job done. They are being abused by the politicians and especially the planning heads at the pentagon. Having witnessed the same kind of misdirection during the Viet Namese conflict I really feel it is time to change the people at the top, like the sec of defense. He bears the responsibility of the actions of the joint chiefs of staff and needs to go. I am a republican but do not overlook facts.

when joining the military you must sign a contract that states you are to serve eight years . you serve the time that you decide on weather it be 3 years or 4 the remaining time is in the inactive reserve. For ex sample i joined for three years i would serve that time but still be liable to be called back for five more years after the 8 year commitment i dont think they can make you back

that's no longer something like a draft, those adult adult males have already signed the dotted line. A draft is while somebody who has no interest interior the protection tension is forced to coach and deliver out. And the call-up is by the fact they lose troops common who have not re-enlisted, they lose troops right here and there in try against and there are no longer as many adult adult males & females signing up via wars leaving the Marines in try against short-handed.

They did sign on the line, and made the commitment, but it still sucks! The sign of an unpopular war in a volunteer military is they can't get new recruits.

Absolutely not! Then they'd start up the draft. Let the guys who wanted to serve do it, they signed up for it, let them do it.
