Good luck!
-Remove tool box, seat, fuel tank
-Remove both air boxes
-Remove both air box to carb manifolds
-Remove choke cable
-Remove throttle cable bracket from carb (leave cables attached) then remove cables from carb.
-Wedge something under the air case to hold the rear of it up.
-Loosen and remove the L intake manifold clamp (carb side).
-Loosen and remove the R intake manifold clamp (engine side)
-Pull the R intake manifold off the engine, then remove it from the carb.
-Remove the L carb from the manifold.
-Move the carbs to the R to remove them.
Like I said, good luck! It's not a simple job. You think that was fun, try splitting the carbs. Buy a shop manual.

i might get the v-40 5 magna, its a great motorbike, very able and powerful dealing with. The vulcan is sluggish and via a kicked out front end(to make it look cooler i anticipate) it handles badly. in case you have the greenbacks choose for the v-45s massive brother v-sixty 5 yet for optimistic flow with the Magna
