My period was due on Aug. 22, 2006. The Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, and Mon. before I had lots of unprotected sex. Several times after intercourse I would start to spot and then within the hour the spotting would completely disappear. Therefore I continued to have sex each time the situation repeated itself. I am not showing any signs of starting other than the occasional spotting. What are the chances of me being pregnant?

Yes, you could. It is supposed that you shouldn't get pregnant if you have sex 5 days before and 5 days after the initial day of your period (so you did the Maths well). The problem is that in VERY FEW cases, you can get pregnant even if you are with your period!!!

Take the pregnancy test, and even if you are not pregnant DON'T EVER HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX again. My recommendation? Two birth control systems work better than one. (Combine a condom with pills or monthly injections, or the monthly injection with your period time - only if you have a stable partner).

You could be pregnant, but since you were having sex so close to your period, its not terribly likely. If you're young your period can be highly erratic. Give it a week or so and try not to get too worried. Stress can cause you to completely miss a period. If you still haven't started in a week, fork over 10 bucks and buy a home test. Good luck!

It could happen, but you're only a day late and spotting is normal so unless you have a cycle you can set a watch to give it a couple more days then get a home pregnancy test.

only you know your body but it sounds like to me that you are pregnent. It ony takes once so. I would take a pregnancy test and go to a doctor. If you are spotting everytime you have sex then there may be more going on then just being knocked up. GO TO YOUR DOCTOR

I would just take a pregnancy test. They are very accurate. I spotted for a couple days very lightly when I first found out I was pregnant.
