When you use the delete history button... this will make the typed in entries go away.
You can use the regedit program (Start/Run/RegEdit) to search for a particular website. You will find a registry key for that particular website. You can then change the key entry information to a different website or you can delete the key. The key names are url1 through url25. If you delete url5 you will need to change the name of url25 to url5 as the typed url keys must be in numerical sequence. This method allows you to remove a typed url entry with out deleting all the type urls or history.

IN nternet explorer:
1>You might notice that below the blue bar on top, thereis a row ofoptions: File, Edit,View,Favourites,Tools, Help.
2>Leftclick on Tools
3>In the menu that appears, choose internet options
4>In the window that appears, Just below the blue titlebar, There are tabs : General, Security, Privacy..blah blah blah.
5>Choose Content
6>Here, Click on Auto complete, Another window appears. Make sure that all the option boxes are unclicked.
7>Tere are two buttons, which peraps say, Clear autocomplete forms, and Clear saved passwords.
8>Click on both and press OK to confirm deletion.
9>Press Okay.
PS_ while you are in Internet options, you might choose to clear internet usage history, cookies and temporary files under General tab.

if u r useing Internet Explorer , then go to Tool - > Interent Options and in that press the button Clear History . It will delete all the website adresses u have accessed ..

I fairly have the main modern-day version of cyber web explorer. once I scroll down there's a crimson x on the suited edge of the cyber web website adress. If its no longer there bypass to favorites, historical past, the date, suited click, delete. that would desire to artwork.

uncheck the boxes up top and then
click Clear forms
then click on the GENERAL tab
then clear History
It will clear all of it.

Have a close look at the icons on the tool bar. Can you see a small black upside down triangle at the side of every icon, well if you click on it a drop down menu will appear with all sorts of things on it.
The one you want is on the left of the search box. look for options and personalize your tool bar.
you can also highlight the search and press delete on your keyboard.
