are sore nipples a sign of pregnancy?

Breast tenderness in general can be an early sign of pregnancy but it's not a definitive one. There are other causes for nipple pain or tenderness. Can you think of any other recent acitivity that could explain it? Is your period due anytime soon?
I'd suggest a visit to your health care provider to rule out pregnancy and get to the bottom of this.

Yes, it can be..sometimes sore breasts are the first signs of pregnancy. Also, you may notice that your breasts feel fuller and heavier and you may see the veins underneath. You might also notice the areolas will get larger and darker.
