Yes, this was a horrible crime. But did it really deserve all the attention that it got? Do we REALLY need to know all the grusome details of a poor 6 year old little girl?
Also - I don't think Karr is the killer. He was just fantacising and wants the attention.

I do agree that Americans need all the information in order to pay attention. I see myself falling into this category sometime. Unless a mass media campaign has been launched, I am unaware of current events.
The only reason I know so much about JonBenet Ramsey is because I lived and went to High school in Boulder Colorado. Hell, I even think I was made to do a paper on it once or twice. Combine that with the 1999 (approx.) Columbine massacre - and I've had my share of "Current Events" for one lifetime. I was even interviewed 2 times by local and national media. If they have those old CNN files, look them up. I'm on there for something like 10 secs.
