Hi i'm a short (5'2)20 year old girl & i've always wanted to be taller. Is it better to be a tall girl than a short one?did you ever wish that you were shorter or short?someone once told me that she always wanted to be a short,little petite girl coz they look cute!

I'm 14 and about 5'9" and I would KILL to be short! All my friends are tiny and It's really hard for me to find pants because more people are in need or regular and short sizes not longs. I have really long legs. Even size 3 long pants are a little short for me! Consider yourself lucky! I would L O V E to be as tiny as Eva Longoria!!!

I used to wish I was shorter when I was in junior high and the earlier years of high school. it's just that I started junior high with the SAME HEIGHT that I have today, 5'7, which is not really that tall, but being 12 and 5'7 when all the boys in my class were half my height really sucked!!! I was the tallest girl in my group and I was sooo tired of people asking me if I played basketball. I wanted to be like all the other short, petite girly-girls in my class, I felt sooo goofy and gangly and awkward!!
But then other people started growing, and caught up with me, the boys grew taller than me and some of the girls too, so by the end of high-school I was still tall but in an OK way. Now, I LOVE my height!

Don't worry...guys dig girls who aren't too tall as well. Tall girls threaten their ego, some (in fact alot) guys don't like girls who are as tall as they are, or maybe even taller when in heels!
It's nice to be small and petite because you don't look so menacingly standoffish and 'supermodel'ish, if people think you're sweet and nice and adorable because you're petite, good on you..you're earning yourself more fans that way. Of course, tall girls have their advantages, they don't have to jump to get a clear view at outdoor standing concerts amd they have a shot at being a model. If those aren't what you wanna do, then be happy about yourself. :)
P/S: Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs from Charmed aren't exactly tall.. but they're spiffy hot too!

I am 5'-10.5" tall. Sometimes I wished I was shorter, jsut to see what it was like. The only real issues I have with being tall is finding clothing that fits. Mainly because sleeves are always too short and pants too. I have to buy talls.
Otherwise, I love being tall!

Girl don't sweat it, a lot of people aren't happy with their height, weight, face butt, etc. That same tall girl is more than likely wishing she was your size. So look deeper before you start to focus on your flaws, which is what makes you who you are. You probably wouldn't even look right being tall, remember your physical attributes would be altered as well. One wish you should make is wishing to accept yourself for its full worth. Much love.

Its just like the saying goes...the grass is greener on the other side. Tall girls would like to be shorter because they feel goofy or akward......short girls hate being short.
Im short too 5'1 - and I have come to accept it....but I do hate having my pants altered to fit right !

I'm a 5'1 feet tall college freshman, and like you I sometimes get self concious about my height. I hate it when people remind me of how short I am. My friends call me Ooompa Loompa to get on my nerves. But I doubt that we'll be growing any time soon, so I think we should both embrace our shortness.

i'm pretty tall. i wish i was shorter because first of all -- its hard finding pants that fit lengthwise! secondly, i want to wear cute outfits with high heels but i feel uncomfortable wearing high heels cause im already so tall! i wish i was shorter. but you know what they say, you always want what you don't have.

all the actresses in hollywood are short. Look at Jennifer Aniston and Eva whatever her name is from Desparate Housewives. You are in good company.
