Ok..T-mac scored more than 45+ more times than T-Mac and just bcuz Kobe acored 81 doesnt mean hes bettr and dont 4get that T-Mac scored 13 pts in 30 sec to lead the Rockets to a win over the Spurs a couple seasons ago

He did take to Rockets to the playoffs & if Kobe got as injured as his back, he would not even put up 15pts. How about that All-Star game? where was Kobe then?

Tracy McGrady is the best pure scorer in the league. I understand Kobe scored 81 and Tmac didn't. I don't care. TMac is a far better shooter and every bit as good at going to the hoop. He also has a better first step in my opinion (which is impressive since we're talking about kobe here). Despite all of this, Kobe is obviously better since he has a much better all around game. This includes rebounding, defense, etc. While Tmac used to be a great rebounder and shot blocker, once he started scoring a lot he sort of forgot about it. When he was with the raptors he averaged almost two blocks a game one season. If Tmac went back to doing those things it would be a very tough call. But since he's really only a scorer now, regardless of the fact that he's the best scorer; Kobe is the better player.

Kobe is better.
T-Mac has slipped quite a bit lately because of injuries, plus whatever his 'personal' problems were.
Both are great scorers. At their peak, they were equally athletic (if anything, TMac was a better athlete, but it's close).
Both are great shooters...at his peak, TMac was as good a shooter as kobe, but kobe's getting better all the time, and tmac is getting worse thanks to his injuries.
kobe is a much smarter player...his in-depth knowledge of the game is far superior to T-Mac's. Kobe is a better and more consistent defender as well.
Plus, I still can't forget T-Mac thinking that the Magic had won a playoff series one year, when they still had one more win to go... they never got that win, and lost the series... I forget the year, and their opponent, but after the Magic won a game and was one game away from advancing, T-Mac was interviewed on TV after the game and said how great it was to be going to the next round... silly boy...
They both got up for the games when they played against each other, that's for sure.
kobe is the better of the two players though... if they re-did the 'top 50' players of all time, Kobe would probably be there, T-Mac most certainly would not be.

T-mac is not even close to being as good as kobe. Kobe was the leading scorer in the nba. he took the lakers to the playoffs by himself.and do not forget about the game where he got 81 points. T-mac cant do that.T-mac is a big whimp always getting hurt. cant even take his team to the playoffs. Kobe is the best player in the nba.he is the next jordan or maybe even better.

T-Mac is better over all, but not anymore not since he is hurt all the time. But both players stink at leading a team, they are a one man show and they have both proved they can't win without another superstar on their team. I think Dwaye Wade is the best player in the nba followed by lebron and carmelo anthony.

watch a lakers game and watch kobe play then watch a rockets game and see t mac play, i think you'll see who is better between the two

Kobe, because he leads his team, he doesnt have to threaten other players, he leads his team to the playoffs, he doesnt rely on Yao. and Kobe just has made it without his players.
