Hi I Own Both A Ds And A Psp!!!
And I Would Never And I Mean Never Recommend A Person to buy a
ds!!! The Touch Screens Wear Out(Very Quick) The Stylus Wear Down Super Fast, and the Graphics Are Bad, there are only a few cool games on it!!! The Psp I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It Has Super Sharp Graphics,Excellent Games, Mp3 Player, You Can Watch Umds And Download Movies To The Memory Stick, store photos, surf the web, download free demos of games, etc!!! Most People Are Just Jealous That They Don't Have A PPS!!! I Wasted 129.99 on my ds.....just to sit on my shelf....dint buy a DS... BUY A PPS!!!

it fairly is greater advantageous to get a DS Lite. The PSP does lots, particular, besides the shown fact that it fairly is lost concentration on the suited element and that's the video games. The DS has the greater unique and exciting video games. The video games are addicting and much less bland. particular the pics are not the suited interior the international yet why care approximately that lots on a gadget that's on the bypass? each and all of the PSP video games are bland and Sony is beginning off to no longer care lots for it. Plus the DS has greater upload-on issues. particular the cyber web browser isn't as stable via fact the PSP's and it could no longer play audio and video like the PSP yet grow to be that the factor of a transportable GAMING device?

I've got both a PsP and a Nintendo Ds and I'd have to say that I prefer the Ds. The touch screen adds a new flavour to the games and even means theres new games like Kirby's Magic Paintbrush that you've never seen before. Plus oldies like Mario Kart online and New Super Mario Bros are amazing.
I bought the PsP to play MegaMan Powered Up and I also bought Lumines which is excellent and LocoRoco which is fun but apart from those, theres not much that interests me in the PsP but I suppose everyone has different tastes!

Think it depends on what you actually want the PSP or DS to do.
The PSP links onto the Internet and you can use it as an mp3 player as well as play games. The graphics do seem better but there are less games out there for the PSP
The Nintendo DS has a lot more games available to play on it. I think the games do look snes looking though so it seems like a step backwards in that aspect

Don't listen to these cats on here. The PSP is overated mostly because of that screen and the ability to play movies and listen to music. Really, who carries that around and listen to mp3s? And that UMD format for videos its not doin so hott, thats gonna become another Sony MD player format. And for the games, who wants to play the same games you have for your PS2 on your PSP? You kno. Nothin really new. The DS is way cooler. And who says you cant view pictures and play music and watch videos on it. Sure you can, you have to buy a media card reader that they sell at Circuit City. The games give you a lil more style by interacting with them with the Touch Screen. Dont let anyone fool you that the DS is for little kids. Im 18 and love it and always will, then again Im a kid at heart. Im not afraid to pull it out in public. And with the DS lite, I think it looks even better then the PSP. Whats the deal with all the buttons. DS has alot more options on games and most of them look great. Plus, DS has more units sold then PSP! I love my DS. I play that alot more then I play with my PS2. And that Wii looks cool to. Might be my new console. Might play with that more then my PS2!

I have a DS, but I've played my friend's PSP. The PSP is so much better. The games are better, the graphics are better, and the controls are better. But if it's out of your price range, go for the DS, it's not as bad as I made it seem. Hope this helps!

The DS is supposed to have the graphics of a nintendo 64, whereas the psp is supposed to have the graphics of a ps2. The ps2 also has bluetooth so you can play multiplayer games wirelessly.

PSP - The DS had some good games when it first came out, but now they are all the same or too childish for my liking. PSP have always been consistent with some really impressive games and graphics.

PSP for a more manly experience.
DS for a more short burst of gaming.
Winner is the PSP for the more definative gaming experience (Power Stone, Metal Gear Portable Ops, Syphon Filter, Ultimate Ghost And Ghouls, Loco Roco, Me And My Katamari and Tekken DR over Nintendogs, New Super Mario Bros, Animal Crossing and crappy Brain games really) so yes PSP.
