Go to my car and turn on the radio to see what was up for starters. Radio stations must have generators, right? If it seemed people were looting and acting like idiots My family and I would walk next door to my parents (strength in numbers). Honestly...in this day and age....we would all be armed with guns that we have here. Not to harm but to protect us. Then, if it was said it would be days before the power was to be restored I would turn on the generator to the RV and turn the ice machine on full force to have the ice to dump in my parents and my deep freezers to preserve the food we have so that we could survive for several weeks without hunger. If the water stations shut down and could not pump water to us, I have a well which has a pump that runs on electrity, but the pump can be removed and buckets dropped in the well for water. Dang I sound like I'm ready for a fallout or something.....LOL
