ok so i gave my aim name to some people on this and i dont know them and i asked them to leave me alone and they sad o what someone going to get me and they wouldnt leave me alone i was scared is that normal??

you can block people on aim. i can't remember exactly but you can select to block people through the settings.

Maybe everyone is normal and you are the jerk?
However, it was really silly to give out your aim name on here. You can keep blocking them, or get a new account (I'd do the latter).
There are a lot of scary creepy people out there and the less they know about you the better off everyone will be.

It's normal for u to be scared...sounds like a threat to me. They should respect ur wishes and leave u alone. Block their user names. Or don't answer them when they sign in. Tell ur folks if it gets too out of hand...because once the cops get involved, they have ways of tracking harrassers down. But ppl are jerks because it's easier than being nice.

oh come on!! of course everybody has to be a jerk!! otherwise they would be candy coated shallow images of what society has tagged as acceptable. instead of being scared why not join in the joy of being a jerk and do the very things that make you mad right back at them, you may find they arent so bad, and it might be a good way to vent and maybe just maybe youll find someone you want to boink ya

There are a lot of angry people in the world and a lot of them take it out on the internet. Be more careful in the future - I went thru the same thing and I was scared too.

unfortunately yes, some love to sit in their safe little room with their computer and lash out at the world around them. Be sympathetic toward these people, in the real world they are extrememly ugly and are unable to handle compound sentences. They have trouble using rest rooms correctly and often fall off sidewalks into traffic.

Because the internet is anonymous and people take advantage of this. Being a jerk is a lot easier when there aren't any consequences for their actions.

Not sure what an "aim name" is, but 99% of that kind of talk is bs. Just ignore them and they should go away. If not, notify police.

as I'm sure you already realize, sharing any personal information (even something safe like an aim name) with unknown people can lead to problems
once you don't entertain them anymore, you can be sure they will find someone else to annoy

You should never give out any personal information about yourself here. Yes you should be scared and yes it is normal. You don't know these people they could be convicted felons and child molesters. Be careful.
