Is this a serious question or a joke? If it's the former, you may be pleased to know what they are still shown at places like the Barbican Centre and especially the National Film Theatre. Last summer the National Theatre showed some late at night, projected on the wall of its flytower, and about once a year you can see a silent film with organ accompaniment at the Odeon Leicester Square.

Basically. Even among serious film nerds (such as myself), not many of us watch silent movies. I've seen 30-ish, mostly Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton movies, and some German horror and sci-fi/fantasy type movies.
