The place where you are standing at present! When pollution and terror have become the order of the day, how can we find the safest place? These two have become as parts of our lives. Let's not be worried about these because they have become the global problems. We have to fight against them not individually but collecively.

The United States Penitentiary Administrative Maximum Facility (ADX) in Florence, CO. You can be kept in your own 7' by 12' soundproofed room, with a bed, desk and stool. As well as a toilet, sink and shower, a television and a view of the sky. Your food is hand delivered to you and you never have to leave. You are kept by yourself so you do not have to worry about anyone attacking you for any reason, and you room is climate control. It is even surrounded by razor wire and attack dogs, so no one who is not allowed in can get in. Sounds like the safest place on earth to me. Or you could have freedom with some risk. Hard choice huh.

This may sound pesimistic but I believe that their is truely no "safe place". Everywhere there is either pollution(water, air, soil), wild animals that can easily harm humans, potential natural disastors(fire, flood, earthquake, tornado, volcano, etc.), man made terror (terrorism, war, bombs, guns, drugs, etc.) or another form of terror.

You could probably find several locales that offer pollution free living and are not a target for terror plot. However, no matter where you go you encounter basic needs: eating, sleeping, self-grooming needs, social, emotional and physical needs. Safety implies no risk, but anything good in this world carries a risk. Living in a city means better pay but a higher cost of living and crime. Living in a remote area means few opportunities for work, social activities and spiritual fulfillment (with some acceptions), not to mention the difficulty in finding services that are important for a quality of life that is decent (this of course bears some interpretation, but includes medical, dental and vision care as well as public services provided by governments that terrorists may want to destabilize).
In any respect, weighing the options for safety, one has to make important decisions in regards to balancing what is valuable and necessary and what is chaff. I personally think that living in certain areas do carry higher risks for falling victim to certain fates, but no matter where you live you must be sure it allows you to fulfill your calling as a human being, as a person living and breathing with the power to change the world for the better. To quote William Wallace's character as portrayed in Mel Gibson's movie Braveheart, "Every man dies, but not every man really lives". So, consider what is more important to you, safety without the fear of pollution and terrorism to die in your sleep unhindered and unharmed by the worlds evils or perhaps to catch a disease or be taken down by a car or wild animal, or living in the world and being an agent of change without fear of death or pain, driven by passion to change the tiny part of the world you live in for the better, to create and protect life and to allow freedom for others to live well.
I think risking your life for what is good and right is far more valuable and powerful than safety. Peace and a good name are of far greater worth and in the long run will serve you far better than enclosing yourself in safety.

Mexico. All Mexican citizens are in the U.S looking for jobs, therefore,i conclude that there are no factories there to produce pollution. There is enough strange green stuff growing in Mexico to filter out pollution.

Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Its high up on the mountains, beautiful scenery, fresh air, and theres really nothing out there for a terrorist attack to happen. Just watch out for those alpines and wild animals.
