It was used on my parents when they stopped smoking. The only problem is this: my Mom thought it would work, so it did on her, but my Dad thought it would not work, so it didn't on him.

You have to be willing.

Also, one of my friends was in a really abusive relationship, and had blocked some events out...she literally didn't remember certain things. A psychologist who helped her after she got out of the relationship hypnotized her so she would remember what happened and so she could get closure. It really helped her.

hypnotherapy is an alternative therapy for people who can't solve their problems through normal therapy. quitting smoking is a very common use. but basically when you are hypnotized, suggestions can be put into your mind that will help you with your problem. like you could lose weight because the hypnotist made you believe that all sweets would make you sick or something like that. but you have to be willing to be hypnotized and not doubt the outcome.
