The funny thing about that was it was supposed to show how it would cripple the economy, when they heard it wasn't doing what they thought, they changed it to a political statement. It has changed the economy for some businesses because a LOT of people no longer patronize them because they closed down in support.

I live in Connecticut and it was widely reported from our news services that in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey - NOTHING CHANGED. The roads were all nice and clear, so it was smooth sailing (driving). The march was a complete flop. No one missed these people. It was laughable, really. My only question was "where the heck in Homeland Security"? "They should have been there at the demonstrations and picked all these illegal aliens up and deported them"!

Just think about it this way: You go to another country. You are illegal, but you are DEMANDING rights that are only given to legal citizens of that country. What right do you have to demand those rights? Who do you think you are? You don't contribute to the country and you don't bring anything to the table. So, do you think that you'd get them - I think not! My family (as well as everyone else's) came over legally, came thur Ellis Island, made sure that they learned English (reading, writing & speaking), proudly waved the United States flag, and were proud to call themselves Americans. These people did EVERYTHING above board. There was no hiding the shadows, doing things illegally and EXPECTING things to be in their language. Come on, give me a break!

No! The only thing that march did was further divide our nation, and allow the authorities to get pictures of all the immigrants to check out!

that's an act of aggression against the country, particularly while they carry about out their remote places flags. yet this i understand the greater they march and offend our human beings and emblems the greater beneficial the american citizen get and the greater they practice us what share they are right here in our cities illegally the greater our defenses strengthen for our u . s . a ... We human beings do unlike no one to mistreat us or offend us, it relatively is while we are saying, adequate is adequate and bypass forward and take care of what's legally ours.,, you will see.. solid success. and be waiting !!

no the economy was fine...the only bad thing is that the ladder industry might go out of business because there would be no one to NOT tie them to their trucks and let them fall on the highway!!!

Not at all. In fact, traffic was so good that most people I talked with wish that the illegals would just go away! It is outrageous how illegals demand rights! What's next, gays demanding rights for recognition??? Oh...eh......
