I am 32 weeks pregnant and reguarly get tightening in my upper stomach region which can last up to 5 minutes. I thought this was Braxton-Hicks but have since read that this is much lower in the stomach i.e. within the uterine area. Has anyone else experienced these type of contractions?

I too would say they are Braxton-Hicks. My whole stomach will get hard with my Braxton-Hicks. I wouldn't worry to much but if you get more then 4 in an hour then you should contact you doctor. Also With them lasting 5 mins long and if you are worried about it I would contact your doctor anyway. It can't hurt anything, better safe then sorry. :-)

Best the luck to you!!

Braxton Hicks! I didn't really get those in my pregnancy, but it is quite common.
